My Musical Journey
Music has been a part of my life since I was a child. I started playing the piano when I was 7 years old and have been hooked on music ever since. I have played Jazz trumpet early in my career which influenced me greatly to take music seriously, yet have fun doing it. Lots of fun! I've been playing music and writing songs for 50 years or more and I'm starting to appreciate how hard it really is.
My Musical Style
I specialize in creating music that blends elements of jazz, blues, folk and rock. My music is inspired by legends such as John Prine, Jackson Browne, Randy Newman, Ry Cooder, Doc Watson, Kris Kristofferson, Paul Simon and the Beatles to name a few. I like to incorporate several different styles and instruments into my music.
